Vilma Bonifacio is the youngest of the five individual winners in the Talk ‘N text tipid sulit idol. Yet her contribution has the greater impact in a community.

Vilma’s scope is much larger comprising 9 sub- villages of  Biao, Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat. Imagine just how some of her students  walk from a neighboring mountain to the site where Vilma teaches. Just to get education.

Her work as a daycare and kindergarten teacher is more sustainable than just conducting feeding programs. If feeding program is sustainable, it has to be forever because man eats until he lives. The fact that preschool and kindergarten days are the most important days in a student’s life because this is when they are taught of the basic hows- how to read, to count and write. This work is foundational and is a crucial stage in shaping the next years of their life- whether they become educated or a street child on the extreme side.

She does more than just giving things. Giving clothes, slippers, books is actually this the responsibility of the parents. Feeding minds will have more impact than just giving any kind of stuffs which don’t last.
